Our approach to construction utilizes both our extensive company resources and the expertise of carefully selected subcontractors. We focus on optimizing productivity and progress in order to achieve schedule milestones while always meeting the highest quality and safety standards. To do this, we use an approach that capitalizes on several important elements:
- Clear definition of responsibilities and authorities
- Problem solving with creative ideas based upon past experience
- Pre-planning construction activities and identifying objectives on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Close coordination of activities and resources among construction crews
- Thorough knowledge of applicable project requirements and active involvement by construction superintendents in the day-to-day work, as well as clear communication with engineers and owners
- Accountability of all personnel for their actions
- Responsibility of all personnel for ensuring safety and quality
We staff our projects with an experienced project manager and superintendent, and a skilled labor force. We then provide them the tools, equipment, and materials required to complete the job and to closely measure and track quality, schedules, safety, and budget.
We do the following to keep our projects on time and within budget:
- Prepare detailed construction schedules and provide milestone dates for the delivery of equipment
- Manage the overall construction budget for the construction team, site operations, and subcontract costs
- Review technical information submitted by subcontractors and coordinate all information to-and-from respective subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide value engineering input to the engineer and/or owner as requested or required
- Ensure accurate document control
- Participate in project reviews and weekly project meetings to ensure the project is on schedule
- Verify that the work is implemented in accordance with the design standards prepared for the project
Verify that a copy of all documents and other transmittals issued during the life of the contract are in the project files
